INSPIRATION
So much of our identities can be traced back to our environment and ancestry. I have witnessed first hand how hard it can be to break from the cycles that run through our families and how easy it is to repeat them. This piece juxtaposes the nuances, challenges, and complexities of family cycles with the functionality and mechanics of a bicycle by using it as a vessel to think about how identities, traditions, and trauma travel through us.
