Bio.

brianna spiker ruiz (she/they) is a budding poet and educator who believes in a multi-generational, accessible arts education that spans finances, time and space. first she is a human that thinks and feels and second she is a "fourth year World Arts and Cultures major and Visual and Performing Arts Education minor.” her areas of interest meet at the intersections of arts literacy, radical kindness, and intersectional feminism. she believes hate has roots in ignorance and that if we as a society had a greater arts literacy we would be able to communicate with a force that fundamentally opposes hate. she spends a lot of time either riding the bus or writing in her (many) notebooks.
