Bio.

Ali Wood (she/her/hers) is a Senior double majoring in World Arts and Culture: Dance as well as Political Science here at UCLA. A Los Angeles native with an international upbringing in both Japan and Australia, Ali Wood has had experiences training with talent from all over the world. Her primary training was at the award winning Marat Daukayev School of Ballet in Los Angeles where she studied Vaganova style Russian Ballet for over 18 years. The school also allowed her to find mentors outside the world of Ballet who danced in celebrated companies such as the Nederland Dans Theater, Bodytraffic, and the Batsheva Company. In addition to training in Ballet, Ali Wood has modeled for dance companies such as Bloch and her dancing has been featured in music videos, movies, and television shows such as Bunheads and Agent X. Her choreography has been featured in commercials for VR campaigns and fashion campaigns as of this year.
